Simon Brault Memorial Second Chance Scholarship

This scholarship was created in 2025 by family and friends in memory of Simon Brault, who graduated in May 2025 from Hudson Valley Community College with an associate’s degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. Unfortunately his life was tragically taken away from him days after his graduation and he didn’t have the chance to work in his field.
Simon was kind-hearted and a truly good person.
He loved to say that he wanted to be a better person today than he was yesterday. He would love to know that this scholarship will help other people in need towards improving their lives hoping that one day, they will also be in a position to help others.

This scholarship is to be awarded to a student enrolled in any of the
following AOS programs:
- Advanced Manufacturing Technology
- Automotive Technical Services
- Automotive Technical Services – Autobody Repair
- Construction Technology – Building Construction
- Electric and Autonomous Vehicles
- Electrical Construction and Maintenance
- Heating/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration
- Mechatronics
- Welding and Fabrication
